Screening Schedule for WSD Schools:
- Monday, October 4th – Mattawa Elementary School
- Tuesday, October 5th – Saddle Mountain Elementary
- Wednesday, October 6th – Junior High School
- Thursday, October 7th – Morris Schott STEAM Elementary
- (Junior High make-ups as time allows)
- Friday, October 8th – Make-Up Day @
- (Finish all remaining classes)
WSD is partnering up with the CBHA Clinic and will be providing Dental, Hearing, and Vision Screenings for students in Kinder - 7th Grade.
The state requires hearing and vision screens, WSD will not require permission slips from parents. The purpose of vision and hearing screening is to aid in the detection of school-age children who have or are at risk for developing vision/hearing disorders.
Dental screening is not required, but CBHA has been gracious enough to agree to do those for our students. For the Dental screening, a permission form has been sent home to all students in grades K - 7. These forms are due back to your student's school by September 23rd, 2021, as the clinic will be picking them up on September 24th, 2021.
This service does not affect or replace their eligibility for any care at your student's regular dentist's office. Also, there is no cost to any family regardless of their insurance status so that all students can participate if they choose to.
CBHA will be in the district from October 4th to the 8th, visiting each school on a different day with the last day for any makeups. Your school will be notified of what, say, CBHA will be in their building.

WSD está criando a los padres con la Clínica CBHA y proporcionará exámenes dentales, auditivos y de la vista para los estudiantes de kínder a séptimo grado.
El estado requiere pantallas de visión y audición, WSD no requerirá hojas de permiso de los padres. El propósito del examen de la vista y la audición es ayudar en la detección de niños en edad escolar que tienen o están en riesgo de desarrollar trastornos de la vista / audición.
No se requiere un examen dental, pero CBHA ha tenido la gentileza de aceptar hacerlo para nuestros estudiantes. Para el examen dental, se envió un formulario de permiso a casa a todos los estudiantes en los grados K - 7. Estos formularios deben entregarse en la escuela de su estudiante antes del 23 de septiembre de 2021, ya que la clínica los recogerá el 24 de septiembre de 2021.
Este servicio no afecta ni reemplaza su elegibilidad para recibir atención en el consultorio del dentista habitual de su estudiante. Además, no hay ningún costo para ninguna familia, independientemente de su estado de seguro, por lo que todos los estudiantes pueden participar si así lo desean.
CBHA estará en el distrito del 4 al 8 de octubre, visitando cada escuela en un día diferente con el último día para cualquier maquillaje. Su escuela será notificada de lo que, digamos, CBHA estará en su edificio.
