May 20th, 2022 Salmon Release Party Recap.
Thank you WSD Families and Students for another great Salmon Release Party! All of our Chinook Salmon have been released into the Columbia River and will be carrying out the rest of their life cycle and migrate to the ocean. We had a couple special guests from The Wanapum ,SOAR Scholars Heritage University, Mid-Columbia Fisheries Enhancement Group and Yakima Basin Environmental Education Program who brought many activities during this event for students and families to enjoy.
