There is a Running Start info night on 4/20 @ WHS from 5pm to 6pm. If you are interested in participating in Running Start next year, or simply want more information, please plan on attending.
SBA Testing is next week!!! Students will need to bring Chromebooks, chargers AND be ready to test at 8:00 AM.

No CB Tech Bus tomorrow
There will be no CB Tech bus tomorrow (Tuesday, April 12) due to lack of bus drivers.
Our Band had the opportunity to represent WHS by participating in the inauguration of the Beverly Bridge on April 8th. Our Marching Band led the 1st people across the bridge as it opened up for the 1st time!

Hello all 10th and 11th grade students,
We will be having a CB TECH parent/Info night on Wednesday April 13th. If you have, or are planning to submit an application to attend CB TECH next year, you need to attend this meeting. We will have representatives from CB TECH present. We will also be discussing transportation, schedules and credits for students who attend CB TECH.
Please plan on attending, with your parents, if you are considering CB TECH next year.

Vazquez-Jimenz earned a 2nd-place finish in the 3200m!
He ran a time of 10.54 for the first time in his high school career.
He ran the 4x400M relay, Angel was the final leg of the race and when he received the baton his team was behind by about 100M, where he won by about 2M.
We've got quite a few overdue or lost books in the library. IF students don't return the book they are charged for the lost book. The students can just drop the book off at the library anytime.
Monday March 28, 2022 will be a REGULAR START DAY! There will be NO late start!

Tomorrow 3/26 from 9AM to 4:30 PM we will host the World Records Camp. With 10+ teams from around the state for a learn by doing clinic! See you there!

The Mattawa/Desert Aire Lions Club is offering four (4) $3,000 Scholarships in 2022. Wahluke High
School graduating students who attend a post high school educational institution are eligible.
Examples are a university/college, junior college, tech school or a vocational school. One of the
considerations will be past community services and plans for future involvement in our community. Please stop by and talk to Mr. Dugan or Ms. Jones if you would like an application.
WASHINGTON STATE INDOOR MASK MANDATE REMINDER
The statewide indoor mask mandate will lift at 11:59 PM on March 11. This change is in alignment with Oregon and California.
This means that beginning Sunday, March 12, masks will become optional in our school buildings.
Staff and students will have the choice to wear a mask at school, with the expectation that others’ choices will be respected.
WSD would like to remind our staff, students, and parents that no one should not make assumptions regarding someone’s beliefs or health status, nor should they comment on them. Masks will continue to be provided for those who do not have them and choose to wear them.
More detailed information will be available Friday, March 11th via the district communication platform ParentSquare, website, and social media pages.

Conversations with School Board and Superintendent: Thursday, March 10 in Staff Room
School Board members and Superintendent Harlow will be in the building Thursday morning from 7:15-8:30 to have conversations with staff and parents. Please stop by for a cup of coffee, donuts and have a conversation with any one of them! This is a great opportunity for you to get to know our board members and superintendent.
