6th Grade Parents WE are very excited that your student will be attending Wahluke Junior High School, and we look forward to seeing them at our 6th grade Orientation on August 22nd, from 3pm-5:30pm. This means your students will attend school from 12pm-5:30pm on the first day of school, August 22nd. Once orientation is over we welcome you to join your student at the Open House until 7pm. Transportation HOME is not provided so please plan accordingly to pick your child up at Open House. If this is not possible, please have your student ride the bus home at 2:45 when the regular school day ends. _____________ Padres de 6to Grado Estamos muy emocionados de que su estudiante asista a la Escuela Secundaria Wahluke Junior High, y esperamos verlos en nuestra orientación de sexto grado el 22 de agosto, de 3:00 p. m. a 5:30 p. m. 5th Grade Move Up Day Assembly! Upcoming 6th graders were celebrated at an Assembly last Friday. We are so excited to have new Warriors at Wahluke Junior High! We wish our new Warriors the best of luck an awesome new school year at the Junior High. Upcoming 6th graders were randomly placed in four different houses; Reveur, Altruismo, Amistad, and Isibindi. #GoWarriors ___ ¡5to Grado Asamblea del Día de Ascenso! Spring into Wellness Family Night was last Thursday! Our students, along with their friends and family had lots of fun with the activities that were provided, such as painting, stress ball making, and planting the seed. They also received educational tips and tricks and were made aware of the helpful resources oir district has to offer. ___ ¡La noche familiar Spring into Wellness fue el jueves pasado! Our finalists enjoying some Atlanta, Georgia fun. Our kids had the opportunity to taste coke products from all over the world. Soda-licious. They also visited the Georgia Aquarium and ate delicious Waffles at the famous Waffle House. _______ Nuestros finalistas disfrutando de la diversión en Atlanta, Georgia. Not only did our top 11 finalists compete at the Amazing Shake, they also had some fun at Andretti, where they got to go indoor go-karting and play some fun arcade games!
