The WSD has created this portal to help communicate and inform our staff and families as we traverse this pandemic and begin to get students back to campus. Please check back often for the latest information.

In every of the confirmed cases, we want to assure you that we are assisting in contact tracing and investigative work with Grant County Health District. We are following our safety procedures of wearing face masks, creating social distancing, and cleaning our facilities following the Center for Disease Control safety guidelines. August 2, 2021 – 3:00pm

GCHD is reporting 66 (PCR = 33, antigen = 33) additional cases of COVID-19 since our last update on July 28. Cases are from Ephrata, Moses Lake, Mattawa area, Quincy area, Rural Othello, Royal City, Soap Lake, and Warden. Mattawa gained 2 cases since the last update on July 28, 2021. The number currently hospitalized in Grant County is 8.

*GCHD will now be reporting COVID-19 cases on Mondays and Wednesdays instead of daily.


Roadmap to Recovery Metrics:

On June 30, 2021, Washington state moved beyond the Roadmap to Recovery Phased Reopening to fully reopen.
