During Thursday nights Basketball game the following was read:
Tonight, I'd like to share the story of a special family. Just like any other, they have their ups and downs, but what sets them apart is their belief in the importance of every member, every day. They celebrate successes and support each other through tough times, knowing that together they are stronger.
This family lives by the motto 'Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Involved.' I'm talking about the Wahluke Family. Recently, tragedy struck as 18 members were involved in a bus accident. But their response was remarkable: the driver evacuated everyone safely, while others provided assistance and support. Staff, administrators and EMT’s were quick to help.
In moments of crisis and every day, the Wahluke Family shows that every member matters. In our highs and lows, we are united — WE ARE WAHLUKE. Thank you!

Esta noche, me gustaría compartir la historia de una familia especial. Como cualquier otra familia, tiene sus altibajos, pero lo que los diferencia es su creencia en la importancia de cada miembro, cada día. Celebran los éxitos y se apoyan mutuamente en tiempos difíciles, sabiendo que juntos son más fuertes.
Esta familia vive bajo el lema ‘Sea respetuoso, sea responsable, sea involucrado’. Estoy hablando de la familia Wahluke. Recientemente, ocurrió una tragedia cuando 18 miembros estuvieron involucrados en un accidente de autobús. Pero su respuesta fue notable: el conductor evacuó a todos de manera segura, mientras que otros brindaron asistencia y apoyo. El personal, los administradores y los técnicos de emergencias médicas ayudaron rápidamente.
